A unique service offering to the market is Project Management Support. Many organizations experience much difficulty with successfully implementing IT projects. Project managers are faced with solving all problems (business and IT) and seldom have a support service that they could call on for advice. CIO’s / IT Directors / IT Managers do not have the time in their schedule to assist project managers in overcoming the day to day problems they face. Inevitably, delivery comes under pressure and project success is jeopardized.

Project Management Support is a service offering where GMC would perform the following:
      Project Stock Take
      Documentation
      Project Plan
      Communication
      Issues / Risks
      Stakeholder management

This would culminate in a brief executive report to the project sponsor / owner. The sole purpose being to increase the chances of success in the project.

GMC’s Project Management Support will provide ongoing support to the project manager, by intermittent engagement or by telephone GMC will support the executive / sponsor by performing periodic independent milestone reviews. This will be presented to the respective head in a report highlighting areas of success, areas of concern (covering the entire SDLC and project life cycle), issues, risks and ultimately a presentation of alternatives in order to increase the chances of successful implementation.

A post implementation review will be conducted with the project manager in order to ensure continuous improvement.
